Exciting News! Guest Appearance on Dave Tate’s Table Talk Podcast

I’m honored to announce that I’ll be a guest on Dave Tate’s Table Talk Podcast next Wednesday, March 26th at 10:30 AM, streaming on the EliteFTS YouTube channel.

Dave Tate’s Table Talk is one of the most respected and credible podcasts in strength sports and conditioning, reaching over 500,000 monthly engagements across YouTube, Spotify, and other major platforms. Filmed on-site at the EliteFTS weight room outside of Columbus, OH, the show reflects our shared mission to Live, Learn, and Pass On. With over 26 years of trust and credibility, EliteFTS carefully selects guests whose experiences and insights truly resonate with their audience, and I’m honored to be among them.

We’ll be diving into my journey in strength sports—from competing in two natural bodybuilding shows in 2011 and 2012 to starting my powerlifting career in 2013. Since then, I’ve competed in 20 powerlifting meets, becoming the first powerlifter in Rochester to total 1800, 1900, and still the only to total over 2000 lbs.

I began my career in raw powerlifting, but later transitioned to multiply powerlifting in 2023 under the guidance of the late Paul Childress, an all-time world record holder who previously trained at Westside Barbell under Louie Simmons. Training under Paul’s mentorship gave me invaluable insight into the highest levels of strength training, technical mastery, and the mindset required to succeed in the sport. His influence played a major role in improving my approach as both a lifter and a coach.

My coaching journey started at World Gym Webster, where I worked as a personal trainer in 2018 before transitioning to coaching powerlifters and strength athletes under The Crew, which was then the Sheridan Strength Crew. When World Gym Webster closed in 2022, Dave Heisinger and I took the opportunity to create something new… Legends 24/7 Gym, a modern powerlifting and bodybuilding gym built for serious athletes looking to make real progress in a driven, like-minded community. Today, Legends is the strongest and most established powerlifting gym in the 585 and is proud to host USPA meets of our own.

I’m truly grateful for this opportunity to share my journey on such a respected platform and discuss finding balance between my coaching business, the running of Legends 24/7 Gym, and working my full-time job as an armed Security Supervisor at a local Nuclear Power Plant. Much like EliteFTS, my goal has always been to Live, Learn, and Pass On. I hope you’ll tune in and be a part of the conversation!
